Frequently Asked Questions

Which Rumpl mat should I get?

  • Pack Mat: light (1.2 lbs) with a 20K waterproof bottom, and packs to 6 x 12 inches, for parks, beaches, and festivals. Its Micro size (20 x 28 in) is a changing mat for boot swaps and wetsuit exits.
  • Stash Mat: padded and water-resistant, and folds into a tote with pockets, for picnics and sidelines.
  • Overland Mat: heavy-duty padded canvas with a 10K waterproof bottom, for truck beds, tailgates, and rocky ground.

Are Rumpl mats waterproof?

The Pack Mat (both sizes) has a 20K waterproof bottom, and the Overland Mat a 10K waterproof canvas bottom. The Stash Mat is water-resistant, top and bottom. Every mat's top is water-resistant, so spills bead up, but standing water will soak in.

What size are Rumpl mats?

The Pack Mat, Overland Mat, and Stash Mat Large are 52 x 75 inches. The Stash Mat Extra-Large is 84 x 80 inches, and the Pack Mat's Micro size is 20 x 28 inches.

How do I clean a Rumpl mat?

Spot clean only. Shake it off, spray or wipe it with a wet cloth, and hang it to dry. Don't machine wash a Rumpl mat or put it in the dryer.

Is Rumpl gear covered by a warranty?

Yes. The Rumpl Guarantee covers manufacturing defects for 3 years from purchase. Bought it somewhere other than Rumpl.com? Register it within 30 days.
